Job Title: Senior Engineer - Chassis Architectures

Experience: 4 - 5 Years

Location: Pune

Functional Area: Research & Development

Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering

Job Description:

  1. Expert in CATIAV5 modelling in all modules (solid, surface, assembly design & drafting)
  2. Good knowledge and experience of GD&T application for chassis components (knuckle, control arm, subframe) & tolerance stack-up analysis
  3. Should have basic knowledge about design release process, DVP, DFMEA.
  4. Should have good knowledge about passenger car suspension systems and steering systems
  5. Should have good knowledge of casting, forging, sheet metal components design
  6. Execute design tasks in a thorough and timely manner
  7. Maintains CAD data in accordance with company procedures and standards
  8. Should work with prototyping suppliers to develop prototypes of chassis components
  9. Basic Knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing process
  10. Good knowledge of MS Office tools
  11. Collaborate with local & global ZF engineering teams and departments
