You willparticipate in designs and implementation on a team building high-throughput, low-latency, fault-tolerantPaid Media solutions to drive Nike’s Digital transformation and growth strategies. The candidate needs tohave strong communication skills, help solve complex problems, and be a collaborative teammate.• A minimum of 4 years software development experience in Full Stack with React and TypeScript• Experience in microservices architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful API’s usinglanguages such as Node.js and python• Experience using cloud services to build an integrated application (AWS - EC2, ECS, API gateway,Lambda, DynamoDB).• Experience with implementing CI/CD and leading teams with DevOps responsibilities of deployingand supporting the software in production• Experience with highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environments• Experience with developing automated tests (E2E) with testing frameworks• Solid understanding of Scrum and Agile principles• Dedication to and hands-on experience in performing technical code reviews• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect withboth business and technical teams• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, or a combination ofrelevant education, experience, and trainingWHAT YOU’LL WORK ONYou will build and deliver the technical runway for existing and new technological capabilities to supportmultiple mission critical systems within the Paid Media space. You will rely on your understanding ofscalable, highly available, and consistent distributed systems to design world class solutions.Design & Develop: Build, test, and maintain React applications and Node servicesproviding functionality necessary to enable our advertising efforts.• Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, engineers to understand requirements,technical specifications, and deliver quality software.• Explain designs to teammates to for alignment and approval• Ensure solutions are designed and developed using a scalable, highly resilient cloud nativearchitecture• Front-End Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices,services using technologies like Node.js• Participate in design reviews with peers to provide feedback• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure bestpractices• Database Management: Develop databases, ensuring efficient data storageand retrieval.• Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, integration tests, and maintain highcode quality standards using tools such as Jest, Mocha, or similar.• Performance Optimization: Identify and fix performance bottlenecks across the fullstack, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.• CI/CD Integration: Integrate with and maintain continuous integration/continuousdeployment (CI/CD) pipelines for seamless software delivery.• Agile Methodologies: Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, dailystand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based onproduct/program updates and user feedback.
