Key Responsibilities :


1. Develop and Maintain Perl Applications :


As a Perl Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical Perl applications that drive our ETL processes and business logic. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will ensure the performance, responsiveness, and reliability of these applications.


2. Data Management :


Managing large datasets is at the heart of our operations. You'll implement efficient processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading, working closely with our data team to ensure data integrity and optimize processing efficiency.


3. System Optimization :


Identifying and addressing bottlenecks and bugs is crucial for optimizing system performance. You'll use your expertise to continuously improve backend systems, enhancing speed and efficiency to meet our evolving needs.


4. Collaboration and Communication :


Collaboration is key to our success. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and implement new features. Your ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will ensure alignment and drive innovation.


5. Compliance and Best Practices :


Compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements is non-negotiable. You'll ensure our applications adhere to the highest standards of data security and handling, while also maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.


6. Technical Support and Documentation :


Technical support is essential for maintaining system reliability. You'll provide timely support, troubleshooting production issues, and resolving them efficiently. Additionally, you'll maintain comprehensive documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure system stability.


Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven experience in Perl software development, with a deep understanding of Perl programming principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in relational databases and SQL is essential for managing large datasets effectively.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is advantageous.
  • Experience in healthcare IT and familiarity with healthcare data standards like HL7 and FHIR is preferred.
  • A solid grasp of object-oriented programming concepts is necessary for developing scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
