Job Description:

ob Title: Cloud Engineer – Workflow Orchestration (Temporal / Cloud)

Location: Mumbai

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with expertise in workflow orchestration using Temporal (or equivalent systems). The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and fault-tolerant workflows across GCP and AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Temporal workflows to automate complex business processes.
  • Integrate workflows with microservices and event-driven systems.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance of workflow infrastructure.
  • Monitor, debug, and optimize workflow executions for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain best practices, templates, and reusable patterns for workflow design.
  • Collaborate with application and DevOps teams to align workflows with overall system architecture.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or related roles.
  • Proven experience with Temporal, Cadence, or similar workflow orchestration frameworks.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in GCP and AWS services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, etc.).
  • Experience working with event-driven architectures, message queues (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka, SQS), and microservices.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, observability, and debugging complex workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
