Role Overview

We are hiring a Business Analyst with strong fund accounting expertise to design and support technology solutions for asset managers, custodians, and fund administrators. This role requires hands-on knowledge of NAV calculations, reconciliations, and financial reporting, combined with the ability to translate workflows into scalable product features.


Key Responsibilities

• Fund Accounting Expertise: Document workflows for NAV calculation, accruals, corporate actions, reconciliations, and expense management.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure solutions meet SEBI, AIF, and global fund accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).

• Technology Design: Translate accounting processes into functional requirements for development teams.

• Client Support: Work with asset managers and fund administrators to align workflows with client needs.

• Automation: Identify opportunities for automation in reconciliation, valuation, and reporting.

• Analytics & Reporting: Deliver insights and dashboards for performance measurement and compliance monitoring.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory:

• 5–8 years in Capital Markets/Asset Management, with at least 2 years in Fund Accounting.

• Strong knowledge of NAV calculation, reconciliation, corporate actions, and regulatory reporting.

• Experience in process documentation, gap analysis, and workflow design.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred:

• Certifications: CFA, CPA, FRM, IIBA.

• Familiarity with fund accounting systems (e.g., Multifonds, Sungard, Investran).

• Skills in SQL, Excel, Power BI, Jira, Confluence.
