Job Description :


As a Java Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of our Java-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other architects, to ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and maintainable.

Your expertise will guide the technical direction of our projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architectural Design: Lead the design and development of complex, high-performance Java applications.

- Define architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.

- System Integration: Oversee the integration of various systems and technologies to ensure seamless operation and data flow.

- Design APIs and services for effective communication between components.

- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

- Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural principles, coding standards, and best practices.

- Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring the scalability and efficiency of the applications.

- Security: Implement security best practices and ensure that applications are designed with security in mind.

- Conduct regular security assessments and code audits.

- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines. Ensure timely delivery of architectural components.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design patterns, technical specifications, and system diagrams.

- Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java development and related technologies.

- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for adoption.

Qualifications :

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in Java development, with at least 3 years in an architectural role.

Technical Skills :

- Deep understanding of Java and related technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and JPA.

- Experience with microservices architecture and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).

- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services.

- Strong knowledge of database design and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Strong understanding of design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Certifications : Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Java SE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
