Senior L2 Production Support Engineer (AS/400 Expert) | Bangalore Hybrid
Are you a veteran of the Command Line? Do you speak fluent AS/400 and thrive on solving complex data puzzles?
We are searching for a Senior L2 Production Support Engineer with 7+ years of experience to be the technical guardian of our critical legacy systems.
This is not just a monitoring role. We need a troubleshooter who can dig into Cobol code, navigate DB2, and ensure our nightly critical path runs flawlessly.
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
⏰ Shift: 24x7 Rotational Support
What you bring to the table:
- Core Tech: Deep proficiency in AS/400 OS, Cobol/400, DB2 Querying, and CL (Command Line).
- Troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose application issues and spot trends before they become outages.
- Communication: You can translate technical jargon into clear updates for users and document incidents precisely.
- Agility: Fast learner capable of picking up proprietary systems (WINS), Policy Data flows, and Nightly batch logic.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
- Background in the Insurance domain.
- Strong SQL & Data Analysis skills.
