Job Description :


We are in search of an experienced Senior Systems Architect (SSA) with proficiency in Pega 8, capable of identifying and resolving performance issues within live production applications.

Preferred qualifications include a background in defect resolution and performance enhancement, especially within live production environments.

The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of hands-on experience in building applications using Pega PRPC, with a focus on designing and implementing use cases using the latest features of Pega V8.

Key responsibilities :


- Will involve interpreting and debugging application server logs, particularly alert logs, to address performance issues promptly.

- Proficiency in using Pega tools like PAL, Tracer, and browser developer tools for performance issue debugging is essential.

- Additionally, hands-on experience with Pega Admin Studio for monitoring Listeners, service pool settings, and system configurations is required.

- A solid understanding of Pega's out-of-the-box architecture components such as Kafka streaming services, node classifications, Elastic search, and Pega deployment manager is crucial.

- Experience in writing complex SQL queries to resolve production issues and implementing Pega customer service frameworks and email channel integrations is highly valued.

- Candidates with DevOps experience, particularly in troubleshooting production issues arising from application code, are preferred.

- Experience in providing Level 3 support for production incidents, including root cause analysis and triaging during live calls, is also desired.

- Furthermore, familiarity with analyzing GC logs, Heap dumps, and WebSphere logs (ihs, access logs, load balancing, site minder) is advantageous.

- Additionally, experience with Pega admin tasks such as installation, application server restarts, and utilizing third-party monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Splunk is considered a plus.
