Job Description :

Accountabilities :

- Craft Observability Strategy: Design and execute the SRE Observability program, aligned with leadership goals and roadmap.

- Mastermind Grafana Solutions: Architect a scalable and distributed Grafana platform, optimizing performance and functionality.

- Deliver Business Insights: Design and build impactful Grafana dashboards and reporting systems, driving visibility into platform and application health.

- Champion Best Practices: Establish and uphold development standards, empowering the team to adopt best practices.

- Foster Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across teams (platform, development, product, scrum masters) to achieve monitoring and analytics goals.

- Innovate for Efficiency: Drive adoption of automation and AIOPS to ensure seamless operational sustainment.

- Lead with Expertise: Act as a Grafana subject matter expert, collaborating with Enterprise Architecture on reference designs.

- Execute the Roadmap: Oversee the strategic SRE Observability program, ensuring alignment with CTO and other stakeholders.

- Technical Savvy and Agility: Develop and integrate scripts and tools, manage data pipelines, and integrate with core services and platforms.

- Troubleshooting Guru: Tackle advanced issues in the observability system, ensuring optimal performance.

- Continuous Improvement: Champion ongoing initiatives to refine observability systems and adapt to :

- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field required; master's degree preferred

- 12+ years in crafting and integrating scalable observability solutions across diverse SRE areas.

- 8+ years mastering Grafana: crafting dashboards, analyzing data, and driving actionable insights.

- Architected and deployed enterprise-grade Grafana platforms for large-scale deployments.

- Transformed business objectives into compelling Grafana dashboards and reports.

- Expert in data analysis, anomaly detection, and performance optimization using Grafana.

- Collaborated across teams to design, deploy, and troubleshoot Grafana solutions effectively.

- Delivered tangible business value through innovative Grafana-based observability solutions.

- Reduced operational costs and improved application performance through strategic Grafana dashboards.

- Empowered stakeholders with data-driven insights to make informed decisions.

Proven technical expertise in one or more of the following :

AIOPS/ Observability & Automation tools & Frameworks, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Elastic, Kibana, Kafka

Nice to have exposure :

- ITOM & Collaboration tools: ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, Tableau.

- Data/Data Structures: Oracle, SQL, Mongo, Hadoop, Cloudera, Spark, Teradata

- API development using 3rd party libraries, REST/API

- Enterprise Architecture experience

- DBA experience
