You can also reach out to work@yaas.studio with your CV and portfolio.About the RoleAs a Short Form Scriptwriter at YAAS, you'll be responsible for researching, writing, and overseeing the production of 1-2 Instagram reels daily. Your scripts will directly impact channel growth, audience engagement, and brand perception. This role requires both creative writing talent and practical production knowledge to ensure your scripts translate into compelling visual content.ResponsibilitiesResearch and write 24-30 high-quality scripts monthly for Instagram and other short-form platformsProvide editors with specific B-Roll links and visual-aid input to bring scripts to lifeAnalyse performance data and adapt writing approach based on audience responseWork collaboratively with editors to ensure smooth content production workflowManage the script-to-publication process (3-4 hours writing, 3-4 hours production support daily)Create efficient workflows to consistently meet monthly deliverablesOccasionally interface with clients to discuss content strategy and requirements Qualifications1-2 years experience creating content for brands, creators, or personal platforms with measurable engagement metrics Required SkillsStrong research skills and ability to identify trending topics in relevant nichesExcellent writing abilities without over-reliance on AI tools (should use LLMs strategically to enhance thinking and identify trends, not replace original writing)Understanding of visual storytelling and how scripts translate to videoDemonstrated ability to write engaging hooks and maintain viewer attentionExperience analysing content performance data and adjusting strategy accordinglyPortfolio of previous work showing writing quality and engagement results
