At present, one of our International Customers at RED is in the search of a Data Platform Lead for a hybrid contract with great chances of turning to Perm later.

Here are some details :

Project Details :

Role : Data Platform Lead.

Start : ASAP.

Duration : 6+ months with turning to Perm Later.

Skills : Agile, SAFE, DWH, Data Lake, ETL/ELT process.

The sought-after consultant will have :

- Experience in Data Delivery: Minimum 3 years.

- Data Architecture Knowledge.

- Data-Driven Approach.

- Project Management Skills : 5 years managing Data projects.

- Product Vision and Strategy : 3+ years.

- Product Development and Delivery : 5+ years.

- Platform Architecture and Operations : 2+ years.

- Business and Stakeholder Management : 7+ years.

Need a 'Tech Savvy person but wont be hands on'.

Key Responsibilities :


Data Delivery and Architecture :


- Oversee the delivery of data projects ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data solutions.


- Provide expert knowledge in data architecture to design robust and scalable data platforms.


- Utilize a data-driven approach to inform decisions and strategies, ensuring the highest data quality and integrity.


Project Management :


- Manage data projects with a strong focus on timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.


- Ensure effective communication and coordination among project teams and stakeholders. Implement best practices in project management to streamline data project execution.


Product Vision and Strategy :


- Develop and maintain a clear vision and strategy for data products and platforms.


- Align product strategy with business goals and objectives to drive innovation and business value.


- Ensure that the data platform supports current and future business needs


Product Development and Delivery :


- Lead the development and delivery of data products, ensuring they meet business requirements and user needs.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch and adoption of data products.


- Continuously improve product offerings based on feedback and evolving business needs.


Platform Architecture and Operations :


- Oversee the architecture and operations of the data platform to ensure it is robust, scalable, and efficient.


- Ensure the data platform adheres to best practices in security, compliance, and performance.


- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues and optimize platform performance.


Business and Stakeholder Management :


- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data solutions.


- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively.


- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business and technical stakeholders.


Required Skills and Qualifications :


Experience in Data Delivery :


- Minimum of 3 years in data delivery, with a strong track record of managing and delivering data projects.


- Data Architecture Knowledge :


- In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.


- Ability to design and oversee the implementation of scalable data platforms.


Data-Driven Approach :


- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset to inform decisions and strategies.


Project Management Skills :


- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing data projects.


- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.


Product Vision and Strategy :


- At least 3 years of experience developing and implementing product vision and strategy.


Product Development and Delivery :


- Over 5 years of experience in product development and delivery, with a focus on data products.


Platform Architecture and Operations :


- Minimum of 2 years of experience in platform architecture and operations.


Business and Stakeholder Management :


- At least 7 years of experience managing business and stakeholder relationships.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.


Work Environment : Full-time position.


- Primarily office-based with potential for remote work. Occasional travel may be required for stakeholder meetings and project coordination.
