Job Description :
- Experience with SQL server administration, including installing, configuring, securing, and optimizing SQL Server Databases.
- Experience in upgrading and patching versions of SQL Server.
- Full understanding of software lifecycle management.
- Experience with SSIS and integrations relying on scheduled database task.
- Familiar with a DevOps environment, aligning system changes with other technical changes effecting the business.
- Good understanding of security and storing data in the cloud securely.
- Understands practices of normalizing data, as well as creating efficient data structures.
- Experience with Microsoft Cloud applications such as Data Factories, and other SaaS database solutions.
- Experience documenting solutions, communicating necessary updates, and rolling those updates into large DevOps backlogs.
- Experience working in matrixed organizations.
- Lead SQL server administration tasks, including installation, configuration, security implementation, and performance optimization of SQL Server databases, ensuring reliability and efficiency of database operations.
- Version Management and Upgrades : Manage version upgrades and patching of SQL Server, ensuring seamless transitions while minimizing downtime and maintaining system integrity.
- Software Lifecycle Management : Apply a comprehensive understanding of software lifecycle management principles to coordinate and execute system changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimizing disruptions.
- SSIS Integration : Utilize expertise in SSIS to design and implement integrations relying on scheduled database tasks, facilitating seamless data flows and automation within the database environment.
- DevOps Alignment : Collaborate within a DevOps environment to align system changes with other technical changes affecting the business, ensuring synchronization and efficiency in software development and deployment processes.
