Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Middle School Mathematics Teacher for our students in US. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering effective mathematics lessons for middle school students, developing engaging curriculum and lesson plans, evaluating student academic progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. Additionally, the teacher will guide students in understanding fundamental and advanced mathematical concepts such as algebra and ensure alignment with school curricula.


Qualifications
  • Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Mathematics, especially Algebra
  • Minimum 5 years of experience teaching US students (through US schools or established US-based online platforms, not just a few private US students)
  • Solid understanding of the US Common Core Curriculum for Mathematics
  • Proven experience teaching Middle School students (Grades 6–8)
  • Familiarity with modern Mathematics education methodologies and best practices
  • Skills in curriculum development and instructional design for middle school math
  • Effective classroom management and communication skills to engage and inspire students
  • Ability to assess and adapt to diverse learning needs and learning styles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Relevant teaching certification or licensure is highly desirable
  • Previous teaching experience in a formal middle school setting is a strong advantage
