FutureFactor360 is hiring on behalf of a GCC of a large automotive company based in NCR for the role of "IT Quality Specialist with Japanese Proficiency".

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of IT products and services in alignment with international standards while also facilitating effective communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders. This role demands a meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate cultural nuances in a professional setting.

Responsibilities :

  • Quality Assurance : Execute quality assurance procedures to ensure IT products and services meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. This includes conducting thorough testing, analyzing results, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to quality assurance processes, test plans, and test cases. Ensure all documentation is accurately translated into Japanese for stakeholders as necessary.
  • Testing & Evaluation : Develop and execute test cases to identify software defects, functionality issues, and performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify opportunities to enhance quality assurance processes and methodologies. Implement improvements to streamline testing procedures, increase efficiency, and optimize product quality.
  • Communication : Serve as a liaison between English-speaking and Japanese-speaking stakeholders, effectively communicating technical information, project updates, and quality-related issues. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions in both languages as necessary.
  • Compliance : Ensure IT products and services comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and proactively address compliance issues.
  • Training & Support : Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance processes, tools, and methodologies. Offer guidance and mentorship to facilitate skill development and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications :
  • Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) is essential for effective communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in quality assurance, software testing, or a related role within the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in testing tools and technologies, such as test management software, bug tracking systems, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Certification in quality assurance is a plus.
Preferred Skills :
  • Familiarity with Japanese business culture and communication norms.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment or with international teams.
  • Knowledge of Japanese regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the IT industry.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
