Higher qualifications, such as a Master's degree or relevant certifications, will be an added advantage.Technical Proficiency: A solid foundation in civil engineering principles, combined with an in-depth understanding of construction methodologies, project management practices, and design standards, is essential.Software Skills: Proficiency in industry-relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera etc is expected. Soft Skills: Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders. Leadership qualities and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams are crucial.ExperienceIdeal candidates should have:Professional Experience: A minimum of 20 years of hands-on experience in the field of water supply, focusing on EPC projects. This experience should encompass various phases of project development, including:Project Planning & Feasibility Analysis: Involvement in the initial stages of project planning, feasibility studies, and site assessments.Design Development: Expertise in creating detailed designs, technical specifications, and engineering drawings to ensure projects are executed accurately.Procurement: Experience in sourcing and procuring essential materials, equipment, and services while adhering to project timelines and budgets.Construction & Execution: Proven capability in overseeing the construction phase, including the management of contractors, labor, and on-site operations.Commissioning: Experience in testing, commissioning, and handover processes to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards.Track Record: Candidates should demonstrate a successful track record of managing and delivering EPC projects from inception to completion. Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, safety standards, and budgetary controls will be given preference.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental compliance requirements is essential to ensure projects adhere to all legal and regulatory frameworks.
