Job Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Costing Specialist with strong expertise in Paper Packaging to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring 10–12 years of hands-on costing experience and in-depth understanding of paper packaging materials. Experience or training in Renuka will be considered an added advantage.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Costing Analysis

 Conduct comprehensive costing analysis for paper packaging materials.

 Evaluate cost components including raw materials, labor, overheads, and other relevant expenses.

 Implement cost control measures to improve operational efficiency.

2. Costing Methodology

 Develop and implement robust costing methodologies for paper packaging products.

 Stay updated on industry trends, pricing strategies, and market benchmarks to ensure

competitiveness.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

 Work closely with production, procurement, finance, and other teams to gather accurate cost data.

 Collaborate with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline processes.

4. Reporting

 Prepare and present regular cost reports and analytical insights for management review.


 Provide recommendations based on cost data to support strategic decisions.

5. Variance Analysis

 Conduct variance analysis to identify deviations from standard or budgeted costs.

 Investigate and explain significant cost variances and propose corrective actions.

6. Continuous Improvement

 Identify opportunities to enhance costing processes and improve overall efficiency.

 Implement best practices to strengthen the costing function.


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. 10–12 years of experience in costing, preferably in the paper packaging industry.

3. Knowledge or certification in Renuka is an added advantage, not a requirement.

4. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

6. Proficiency in relevant costing tools and software.
