Key Responsibilities


  1. Monitoring that GRN is being done under the correct line item in SAP
  2. Monitoring that production order is being released before any item is taken from inventory for consumption (report from stores/production team to be shared on weekly basis)
  3. Tracking movement of material consumption, planned vs actual, to track wastage %ages
  4. Periodic review of fixed asset register ensuring correct asset code tagging, along with classification into usable and non-usable items with the help of factory team
  5. Checking ageing of Vendor outstanding amounts
  6. Detailing the opportunity cost of unused capacity and suggesting ways to account for that cost
  7. Controlling the transfer transactions between factories through STOs
  8. Comparing the delivery date with the date of the actual production
  9. Alert the management from dealing with any Vendor with bad credit history
  10. Reviewing and tracking factory opex performance / run rates and finding ways to optimize the same
  11. Periodical Inventory Monitoring to ensure no excess material/ mismatch material is being procured in plant
  12. Monitoring of Open Production order with its aging and ensuring its timely closure.
  13. Controlling entire scrap sale process for factory including but not limited to following:
  • Physical scrap verification to be done before initiating the scrap sale process
  • Analyze the scrap percentage trend month wise
  • Calculating the cost of quality and controlling the abnormal scrap cost.
  • Controlling all the scrap sales invoices and matching the prices with the approved contracts.
  • Risk assessment for the current scrap process.
  • Making sure all the issued scrap qty have been invoiced
  • Controlling all the rework scrap orders of FG item.

Qualification:

MBA / CA / CMA with 5 to 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Industry.
