Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain complex WordPress websites and applications

- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and content creators to translate requirements into high-quality, user-friendly websites

- Develop custom themes, plugins, and functionality using PHP, MySQL, and WordPress APIs

- Leverage expert knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ECMAScript/TypeScript) to build responsive and engaging user interfaces

- Manage and maintain the WordPress environment, including system administration, server configuration, backups, and security updates

- Implement and optimize web analytics solutions to track, report on, and analyze website traffic and campaign performance

- Utilize data insights to inform actionable decisions and website optimization strategies

- Work within an Agile development framework and adhere to best practices for software development

- Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and workflows to ensure the smooth operation of the CMS platform

- Utilize version control systems (GIT) to manage code changes and collaboration

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across various teams within the organization

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites and applications

- Expert knowledge of the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)

- In-depth understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ECMAScript/TypeScript)

- Operational experience with running a content management platform (e.g. WordPress), including system maintenance, upgrades, server configuration, and monitoring

- Experience with Agile software development methodologies

- Proven software engineering fundamentals

- Experience with a web analytics platform (e.g. Google Analytics)

- A strong track record of creating user-friendly and responsive front-end solutions

- Experience developing solutions to track, report on, and analyze website analytics and campaigns, driving actionable decision-making

- Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g. GIT)

- Experience in creating and implementing processes and workflows for efficient CMS management

- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

- A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with various teams across an organization
