As a MEP BIM Modeler, you will play a crucial role in the development and creation of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) BIM models for our projects. Your expertise in MEP systems, BIM software, and coordination will be essential in ensuring accurate and high-quality MEP BIM deliverables..Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical EngineeringRequired Skill: Proficient in Revit MEPExp Level: Min 2-5 yrs.Location: Dubai, UAEMust know software: Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:MEP BIM Modeling:• Develop detailed MEP BIM models using software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP, or similar platforms.• Incorporate design changes and updates into MEP BIM models based on project requirements.• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and coordination of MEP systems within the BIM environment.MEP Coordination:• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate MEP systems within the BIM models.• Conduct clash detection and coordination meetings to identify and resolve conflicts between MEP systems and other building elements.• Ensure proper spatial integration and coordination of MEP systems within the overall project.BIM Standards and Guidelines: • Follow established BIM standards, guidelines, and protocols in the creation of MEP BIM models.• Implement best practices for MEP modeling, including naming conventions, parameterization, and level of detail (LOD) requirements.• Assist in the development and improvement of BIM standards and workflowsBIM Documentation: • Generate accurate and comprehensive documentation related to MEP BIM models, including schedules, quantity take-offs, and material specifications.• Collaborate with project teams to ensure BIM deliverables meet project requirements and timelines.• Maintain organized file structures and adhere to file management protocols.• Quality Control and Coordination Reviews:• Perform regular quality control checks on MEP BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.• Participate in coordination meetings and clash detection sessions to identify and resolve conflicts within the MEP systems.• Collaborate with the project team to implement necessary design changes and updates.QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.• Strong experience in MEP coordination and BIM modeling within the AEC industry.• Proficiency in MEP-related BIM software and tools such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP, or similar platforms.• Knowledge of MEP systems, construction methods, and industry standards.• Familiarity with BIM methodologies, processes, and coordination workflows.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.• Professional certifications related to BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are a plushas context menu Paragraph.
