About Us:

RailLabs is an ambitous Digital Railway Safety startup incubated at IIT-MIC. We are building cutting-edge solutions for railway safety using advanced technologies in ultrasonics, robotics, machine vision, and autonomous systems. We are looking for a seasoned tech leader to join as Co-Founder & CTO and lead our technology vision and product development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead industrial digital product development with substantial hands-on experience in building customer-facing products.
  • Build, mentor, and manage high-performance engineering teams; define skill requirements, recruit, train, and monitor performance.
  • Oversee product lifecycle from concept to commercialization including prototyping, scaling, and deployment.
  • Strategically define technology roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage outsourcing, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration.


Who Can Apply:

  • Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineer with 10+ years of overall experience; at least 5 years in team leadership.
  • Proven experience in startup environments leading architecture and engineering teams to deliver scalable products.
  • Strong research orientation, curiosity, high energy, and tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Exposure to railway systems and IoT preferred.
  • Track record of delivering fully commercialized products from concept to launch.
  • Available to join within 2–3 months.
