Now is your chance to join We are looking for a Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations at our Cuddalore site.


What we ask

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemical Technology or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry
  • Strong understanding of cGMP, ISO 9001/14001, HALAL, KOSHER, and EHS standards
  • Proven ability to lead production teams and drive operational excellence (OEE, yield, productivity, and cost efficiency)
  • Experience with SOP/WI/MBR documentation and compliance systems
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across departments (Maintenance, QC, QA, SCM, HR)
  • Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills

Vacancy description

  • Lead daily production operations in line with DFE Pharma’s global quality and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, HALAL, KOSHER, IPEC, OSHA, and ISO 9001/14001 requirements
  • Develop and execute production plans to achieve operational targets (efficiency, yield, cost, and quality)
  • Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibility across the site
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Safety, Maintenance, QC, QA, SCM, HR, Administration) to ensure smooth operations
  • Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and energy-saving initiatives
  • Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure plant equipment reliability
  • Manage deviations, non-conformances, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Lead and develop production teams through training, performance feedback, and coaching
  • Conduct daily operations and shift handover meetings to ensure transparent communication and issue resolution
