Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune (Wakad) for a Digital Marketing Team Lead (SEM + SMM). The role involves managing and leading a team to execute effective Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Social Media Marketing (SMM) strategies.


We are looking for an experienced and performance-driven Digital Marketing Manager with expertise in both Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Social Media Marketing (SMM). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in managing paid campaigns, building high-impact social media strategies, optimizing performance metrics, and driving measurable business results.

As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing multi-channel digital campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, and major social media platforms. You will work cross-functionally with SEO, content, design, development, and client servicing teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and seamless campaign execution.



SEM Strategy, Execution, Optimization & Social Media Marketing & Management


  • Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end SEM strategies across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other paid platforms.
  • Optimize campaigns continuously to enhance CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, Quality Score, and conversion rates.
  • Perform strategic bid and budget management to achieve campaign goals efficiently.
  • Execute A/B tests for ads, landing pages, and audiences to refine targeting and improve results.
  • Track and analyze performance using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and platform dashboards.
  • Develop and execute a data-driven social media strategy based on competitive research, trends, and audience insights.
  • Plan and manage social media campaigns for domestic and international audiences across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and emerging channels.
  • Oversee content posting, scheduling, engagement, and community management aligned with brand tone and guidelines.
  • Use analytics tools to track reach, engagement, sentiment, follower growth, and campaign performance to generate actionable insights.

Qualifications & Skills


  • 3–5 years of combined experience in SEM, SMM, and performance marketing.
  • Proven track record of running high-performing paid campaigns and social media strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, able to address issues promptly and efficiently.

Technical Skills
  • Expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console.
  • Experience with SEM tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and social analytics or listening tools.
  • Strong understanding of campaign KPIs, attribution, and performance optimization.


Analytical & Strategic Skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract insights.
  • Experience with A/B testing, funnel optimization, and ROI-driven strategy building.
  • Strong budgeting and media planning skills.
  • Strong leadership skill compelling ad copies and engaging social content.
  • Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead & collaborate with creative teams and guide design requirements.
  • The role also requires strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
