Objective of the role :


We're seeking a passionate Senior Backend Engineer to propel our SaaS- based career guidance platform to the next level. You'll play a vital role in designing and scaling our microservices architecture, optimizing database performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities :
  • Design and implement robust, scalable microservices using web frameworks.
  • Build reusable code libraries to enhance efficiency and maintainability.
  • Optimize database performance and data modelling for a high- volume in code reviews, ensuring code quality and alignment with best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues within a distributed architecture.
  • Collaborate across teams to define APIs and ensure seamless integration.
  • Actively contribute ideas to improve our technology, algorithms, and product offerings.
  • Provide code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
Skills :

Technical Skills :
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
  • Must have experience in Object Oriented Languages such as Java/PHP and associated web frameworks.
  • Proven expertise in microservices design patterns and principles.
  • Strong proficiency with relational databases and experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
  • Working knowledge of AWS cloud platform and related services.
  • Prior experience in a product-based tech start-up is a plus.
Behavioral Skills :
  • Ability to obtain in-depth understanding of complex systems and execute improvements at architecture level.
  • Taking ownership of large projects and collaborating effectively across teams within stringent time frames.
  • Passion for solving challenging problems and delivering high- quality solutions.
