Account Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to support our finance operations in Chennai. This role offers direct exposure to senior leadership, as you will be reporting to the CFO. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of financial processes, compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CFO to manage day-to-day accounting activities.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and expense tracking.
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist the CFO in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis tasks as assigned by the CFO.
- Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvements in the finance function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with leadership.
