Responsibilities :

- Application Monitoring: Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of applications, including identifying and addressing performance issues or system failures.

- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve application issues and incidents reported by users, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot application problems, providing solutions to restore functionality quickly.

- User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, addressing their queries and providing assistance with application-related issues.

- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and configuration changes to ensure the application's stability and security.

- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of application issues, solutions, and changes made, ensuring accurate documentation and knowledge sharing.

- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, QA teams, and other IT staff to resolve complex issues and implement application improvements.

- Testing: Assist in testing new features or changes to applications before they are released to ensure they meet quality standards and function correctly.

- Training: Provide training and support to users on application functionalities and best practices.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance metrics and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and user experience.

- Compliance: Ensure application support activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Skills & Technologies :

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in application support tools and technologies, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.

- Programming Languages: Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages relevant to application support (e.g., SQL, Python, Java).

- Database Management: Understanding of database systems and ability to perform basic database queries and maintenance.

- Operating Systems: Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and their interaction with applications.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with users and documentation.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions quickly.

- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accurate issue resolution and documentation.

Qualifications :

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in application support or a related IT role.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.
