- Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins

- Problem solving and analytical skills: Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in the automated testing process.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Test Automation Development

- Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts: Write and maintain automation scripts using Javascript and TypeScript. Ensure the scripts are reliable and reusable.

- Framework Development: Design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks using Webdriver IO and Cucumber BDD. Implement best practices to ensure the framework is robust and scalable.

Test Execution and Management

- Execute Automated Tests: Run automated tests, analyze results, and report any issues or discrepancies. Collaborate with the development team to resolve any identified issues.

- Test Management: Use tools like JIRA and TestRail to plan, execute, and report on testing activities. Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing activities and outcomes.

Agile Methodology :

Participate in Agile Practices :


- Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Work closely with team members to ensure a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of the product. Communicate effectively to provide updates on testing progress and issues.

Version Control and CI/CD

Manage Code with GIT :


- Use GIT for source code management, ensuring proper version control and collaboration with team members.

Implement CI/CD Pipelines :


- Set up and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins.


- Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD process for continuous testing.

Problem Solving and Analytical Skills :

Identify and Troubleshoot Issues :


- Detect issues in the automated testing process, analyze root causes, and collaborate with the development team to resolve them. Use analytical skills to improve testing strategies and processes.

Perform Root Cause Analysis :


- Investigate defects to identify underlying causes and develop solutions to prevent recurrence. Enhance the automation process to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Communication :

Effective Communication :


- Clearly articulate testing processes, issues, and solutions to team members and stakeholders.


- Provide regular updates on testing progress and outcomes.

Documentation :


- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, automation scripts, and framework components.


- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to the team.

Continuous Improvement

Stay Updated with Industry Trends :


- Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools and methodologies. Apply new knowledge to improve the testing process.

Enhance Testing Efficiency :


- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. Implement improvements based on feedback and lessons learned from previous projects.
