- Perform API testing using tools like RestAssured, SOAP UI, or NodeJS to validate API functionality and data integrity.

- Work with tools like Postman to send and analyze API requests and responses.

- Parse complex JSON and XML data and utilize serialization techniques like POJO classes for data validation.

- Perform request and response schema validation, ensuring adherence to defined standards.

- Handle and troubleshoot API response codes and exceptions effectively.

- Write SQL queries to retrieve data for test automation purposes.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of microservices architecture and its testing considerations.

- Implement BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and/or TDD (Test-Driven Development) methodologies using frameworks like Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.

- Monitor test execution, analyze results, and identify potential defects.

- Document test cases and procedures clearly and concisely.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow team members.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and tools in automation testing.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 4-13 years of experience in Quality Engineering with a focus on automation testing.

- Strong understanding of OOPS concepts and solid programming skills in Java.

- Hands-on experience with at least one GUI-based test automation tool for desktop and/or mobile applications (additional experience with multiple tools a plus).

- Proficient in writing SQL queries.

- Thorough understanding of microservices architecture principles.

- In-depth experience working with at least one API testing tool (RestAssured, SOAP UI, NodeJS preferred).

- Experience working with Postman or similar tool for API testing.

- Ability to parse complex JSON and XML data and perform data validation.

- Experience with request and response schema validation and handling API exceptions.

- Familiarity with BDD and/or TDD methodologies and tools (Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
