Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager with over 7+ years of experience in the SAAS industry, specifically with a focus on hyperlocal products.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing product life cycles from conception to launch, demonstrating strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the hyperlocal market dynamics.
Additionally, the candidate should possess coding skills to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and contribute to technical discussions.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Product Strategy & Vision :
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for hyperlocal SAAS products.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align product vision with company goals.
2. Product Development :
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) through the product development lifecycle.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demand, and business objectives.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products by managing project timelines and resources effectively.
3. Customer & Market Focus :
- Engage with customers and local businesses to gather insights and validate product concepts.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure products meet market needs and drive user adoption.
- Monitor and analyse product performance, using data-driven insights to inform future product iterations.
4. Leadership & Collaboration :
- Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Drive collaboration across teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of product initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of product management experience in the SAAS industry, with a focus on hyperlocal products.
- Proven experience in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of the hyperlocal market and the challenges and opportunities it presents.
- Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Jira, etc.)
- Coding skills in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Ability to understand and contribute to technical discussions and solutions.
