Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.

- Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools.

- Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand application functionality and testing requirements.

- Identify, document, and track software defects in a timely manner.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Review and analyse test results, identify issues, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

- Continuously improve and optimise test automation processes and tools.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation testing using Python.

- Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.

- Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.

- Proficiency in scripting and programming with Python.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in testing web applications and services.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Knowledge of additional programming languages like JavaScript or Java.

- Experience with cloud-based testing environments and services.

Educational Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
