About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Analytics team and lead initiatives across data, insights, and AI. This role will drive strategic, cross-functional programs in collaboration with senior executives, data scientists, engineers, product managers, and analytics leadership.
You will own the project pipeline end-to-end — from intake and prioritization through execution and adoption — ensuring delivery of high-impact initiatives that advance our data and AI strategy.
The role requires strong knowledge of data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), Python, BI tools, and emerging AI technologies, with the ability to apply first-principles thinking to modernize analytics and engineering functions.
Ideal candidates bring a unique blend of business acumen, technical fluency, program leadership, and stakeholder management skills to deliver measurable impact in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Strategy
- Partner with stakeholders to define business objectives, challenges, and opportunities in data and AI.
- Translate needs into clear requirements, use cases, and success metrics.
- Conduct feasibility analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and business cases for executive decision-making.
- Shape the data & AI roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and measurable value.
- Support governance, compliance, and ethical AI adoption.
Project Management & Execution
- Lead project intake: prioritize, scope, and align initiatives with business goals.
- Manage cross-functional programs end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and engineering leads to enable effective Agile practices.
- Define acceptance criteria, track delivery, and validate outputs against business outcomes.
- Anticipate risks, resolve dependencies, and drive issue resolution with leadership.
- Champion continuous improvement to scale delivery practices.
Stakeholder & Executive Communication
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives, presenting insights and recommendations clearly.
- Deliver executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and program updates.
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across business, product, engineering, and analytics.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and steering committee discussions.
- Drive adoption and change management through training and structured communication.
Technical & Data Orientation
- Understand data ecosystems, governance, and AI/ML workflows to bridge business and technical teams.
- Partner with engineers and data scientists to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, analytics, and automation, recommending innovative applications.
- Promote best practices in data quality, lineage, security, and compliance.
- Support prototyping and proofs of concept for AI/ML use cases.
Core BA Responsibilities
- Document requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Conduct gap and root-cause analyses and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain documentation, version control, and knowledge repositories.
- Support testing and validation to ensure business value realization.
- Lead change management, adoption, and continuous stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or program management within data, AI, or analytics functions.
- Proven record managing high-visibility, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business or revenue impact.
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Analytics.
- Deep understanding of data management, customer data, CRM systems, analytics platforms, and AI/ML technologies.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, PowerPoint, Power BI/Tableau/Sigma, Salesforce, and SQL basics; experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP) a plus.
- Experience in governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices preferred.
