Location: Pune (Hybrid) – (Once a week in office)

Shift: General (IST Hours)

Experience: 9+ years overall experience


We are seeking an experienced QA Manual Tester IV to join our client’s team and contribute to ensuring the delivery of top-quality web and API applications.


Primary Skills

  • Web application testing (manual functional and regression testing)
  • API and REST API testing using tools such as Postman or Bruno
  • UI automation basics using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and reporting


Secondary Skills

  • Performance testing using tools like JMeter or BlazeMeter
  • Exposure to mobile application testing
  • Familiarity with AI-based testing tools or frameworks


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
  • 9+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience
  • Proven experience in manual testing of web and API-based applications
  • Familiarity with API automation using RestAssured (Java) is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills in Agile development environments


Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of web and desktop applications for functional and non-functional quality.
  • Conduct manual API testing to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of REST services.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and managers to design and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Log, track, and retest defects to ensure thorough resolution.
  • Utilize Postman/Bruno for API testing and validation.
  • Provide regular testing progress updates and communicate critical issues effectively.
  • Assist in UI automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
  • Support API automation initiatives using RestAssured (Java).
