Your work profile

Experience Required: 8+ years (with strong expertise in Oracle Service Bus, SOA, and related Oracle Middleware technologies)

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned On-Premise Data Center Architect with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade data center environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in VMware, hypervisors, compute, storage, networking, and security while leading modernization, consolidation, and optimization initiatives for large-scale on-premise data centers.

Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Design
• Define and design on-premise data center architecture covering compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and security.
• Develop high-availability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Create reference architectures, standards, and roadmaps for enterprise data centers.
• Technology & Virtualization
• Lead design and deployment of VMware-based virtualization platforms (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX).
• Architect solutions leveraging hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Xen).
• Evaluate and implement hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and software-defined data center (SDDC) solutions.
• Operations & Optimization
• Ensure data center performance, security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, and automation.
• Oversee infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh cycles.
• Collaboration & Leadership
• Work closely with network, security, and cloud teams to integrate hybrid models.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Partner with business leaders to align infrastructure strategy with organizational goals.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in data center architecture, engineering, and operations.
• Expertise in:
• VMware virtualization stack (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Horizon)
• Hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Xen)
• Enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, vSAN)
• Networking (LAN, WAN, SDN, firewalls, load balancers)
• Automation & orchestration (vRealize Suite, Ansible, Terraform, PowerCLI)
• Proven experience in on-premise data center consolidation, migration, and transformation.
• Strong background in data center security, compliance, and governance.
• Hands-on experience with business continuity, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
• Excellent solution design, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
