Woxsen University seeks a visionary and interdisciplinary scholar to join as a Professor in the integrated domains of Sustainability, Economics, and Marketing. The ideal candidate will blend rigorous academic research with real-world impact, fostering innovation in sustainable business practices and circular economy models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in Sustainability, Green Marketing, Environmental Economics, and Sustainable Innovation.
  • Conduct high-impact interdisciplinary research; publish in top-tier journals across sustainability, economics, and marketing domains.
  • Develop industry and policy-oriented case studies and pedagogical content that support experiential and applied learning.
  • Supervise doctoral and master's theses, and mentor junior faculty and researchers.
  • Engage in consultancy, executive education, and funded research projects aligned with ESG, SDGs, and future economies.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster a sustainability-driven innovation ecosystem on campus.
  • Represent Woxsen at international academic and industry forums.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ph.D. in Sustainability, Economics, Marketing, or a related field from a globally recognized institution.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of academic or industry experience with a strong record of publications (ABDC/Scopus indexed journals).
  • Demonstrated interdisciplinary approach to teaching and research in at least two of the three domains.
  • Experience with curriculum design, pedagogical innovation, and project-based learning.
  • Industry collaborations or policy advisory work in climate action, sustainable marketing, or green economics is highly desirable.
  • Global exposure and ability to engage with diverse student cohorts.

  • Visionary thinking to shape the future of sustainable business education.
  • Passion for mentoring and capability building among students and faculty.
  • Deep understanding of SDGs, ESG frameworks, and regenerative economies.
  • Knowledge of data-driven marketing and behavioral economics in sustainability contexts.
  • Experience in initiating research centers or innovation labs is a plus
