Role Summary:
The Intern - Sales Associate will be integral to the Business Development team, focusing on the foundational stages of the sales cycle. You will be responsible for identifying, researching, and qualifying potential client leads, supporting the senior sales team, and gaining first-hand experience in how digital strategies are sold and implemented at the executive level.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual eager to transition theoretical knowledge into practical sales skills within a dynamic, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Prospecting
- Conduct in-depth research to identify ideal target companies and decision-makers aligned with Alienhouse Networks’ service offerings (digital strategy, brand elevation, and execution).
- Utilize professional networking tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and industry databases to build robust lead lists.
- Assist in identifying key market trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for strategic outreach.
2. Sales Support and Qualification
- Create personalised, high-impact introductory emails and outreach sequences.
- Support the qualification of inbound and outbound leads through initial contact and information gathering. Arrange initial discovery calls and introductory meetings for the senior sales team.
3. Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Generate weekly reports summarizing prospecting activity, lead pipeline status, and key findings from market research.
4. Learning and Development
- Actively participate in sales training sessions, strategic planning meetings, and client debriefs.
- Shadow senior sales executives during client calls and pitch presentations to understand consultative sales techniques.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- A strong, demonstrable interest in digital strategy, B2B sales, and the technology landscape.
