  1. GNM with 12 years/ B.Sc. with 8 years of experience out of which minimum 5 years as Operation Theatre - In charge of a reputed organization
  2. To provide Nursing leadership, management and direction in regards to setting and maintaining quality standards, staff development and resource management in the daily operation of the unit. The Assistant Nursing Superintendent has an overall accountability for the standard of care, appropriate matching of nurse competence to patient need, occupational health and safety of the staff, and clinical risk management. The Assistant Nursing Superintendent is the face of the organization to the key customers, doctors, patients, their families and friends.
  3. Collaboration with internal & external stakeholders to set up the department e.g. Surgeons, CSSD
  4. Skilled in assisting for all types of Specialty & Super specialty surgeries – Cardiac/Neuro/Transplant etc.
  5. Ensures strict compliance to Infection control protocols as laid down in SOPs
  6. Ensures adequate compliance to patient safety, medico legal concerns & billing protocols
  7. Ensures strict inventory management of surgical supplies, consumables, drugs & narcotics.
  8. Effective management & handling of rapidly changing emergencies.
  9. Well versed with protocols related to Blood & blood products:
  10. Ability to handle immediate post-operative patient effectively & other aspects of anaesthesia care
  11. Awareness / Knowledge of Operating room environment as per accreditation standards.
  12. Ensures safety & comfort of the patient throughout the stay in the OR Complex
  13. Well versed with handling of Biomedical Generic & Specialty Medical equipment
  14. Demonstrates highest level of professionalism & is a role model for her team
