Role Description

We are looking for a Junior Software Tester with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in automation and API testing. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, where you’ll work closely with senior developers and QA leads to ensure every release meets top-tier quality standards. You’ll be involved in writing and executing automated test scripts, validating APIs, and contributing to continuous improvement in our QA processes.

Some work-from-home flexibility is available as part of our hybrid setup.


Responsibilities
  • Execute automated and manual test cases for web and API-based applications
  • Validate APIs and endpoints using tools like Postman or similar
  • Create, maintain, and enhance automation scripts (preferably in Playwright, Selenium, or Reqnroll)
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to reproduce and resolve defects
  • Prepare detailed test reports, track issues, and verify fixes using Jira
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to testing best practice


Technical Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing (Automation + API)
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright / Selenium / Reqnroll
  • Solid understanding of API testing and validation techniques
  • Experience with Postman for API automation
  • Working knowledge of GitHub for version control
  • Familiarity with Jira for project management and bug tracking
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines is a plus

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in automation and API testing
  • Exposure to web application testing and version control systems
