Responsibilities :

Data Science Prototypes :

- Study and transform data science prototypes into scalable and efficient NLP systems.

Annotated Datasets :

- Select appropriate annotated datasets for Supervised Learning methods, ensuring quality and relevance.

Text Representation :

- Utilize effective text representations to transform natural language into useful features for NLP tasks.

Algorithm Selection :

- Pick and implement the right algorithms and tools for various NLP tasks, ensuring optimal performance.

NLP System Development :

- Develop NLP systems according to requirements, focusing on accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.

Model Training :

- Train developed models and run evaluation experiments to assess their performance and refine as needed.

Statistical Analysis :

- Perform statistical analysis of results, interpreting findings, and refining models based on insights.

ML Libraries and Frameworks :

- Extend machine learning libraries and frameworks to apply in NLP tasks, ensuring seamless integration.

Requirements :

NLP Techniques :

- Understanding of NLP techniques for text representation, semantic extraction, and data modeling.

Software Architecture :

- Ability to architect software effectively, delivering production-quality code for NLP applications.

Text Representation :

- Deep understanding of text representation techniques (e.g. grams, bag of words, sentiment analysis).

Statistics and Algorithms :

- Strong knowledge of statistics and classification algorithms, ensuring the application of best practices.

Programming Languages :

- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or R, with the ability to write clean and efficient code.

Machine Learning Frameworks :

- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Keras or PyTorch, along with libraries like scikit-learn.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) roles.

- Proven track record of developing and deploying NLP solutions in a production environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
