Responsibilities :

  • Build a world-class database-as-a-service platform that will provide frictionless cloud services for our customers using MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes.
  • Write efficient and optimized code to build tools and applications that facilitate database management and orchestration.
  • Manage and optimize databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Utilize Kubernetes to develop and maintain controllers for managing databases and related resources.
  • Develop automation for database and Kubernetes-related tasks such as provisioning, backup, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Provide technical expertise and input into the team's roadmap.
  • Coordinate activities of senior members of the team and provide technical leadership.
Requirements :
  • 5+ years of extensive experience managing highly scalable databases and database infrastructure.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, including developing and maintaining controllers.
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud platforms (e. g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their managed database services (e. g., RDS, Amazon Aurora).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or Redis including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Proven experience in software development with proficiency in Go.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).
  • Experience in infrastructure as code frameworks (Terraform).
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written.
  • Mandatory Skill : Data Structure, Programming Language ( Java/Python/C++/Golang), API, Cloud(AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Experience in cloud DBaaS production environments.
  • Familiarity with Crossplane or similar tools for controlling cloud-managed services.
