Role Summary

We are looking for a Blockchain Security Engineer with expertise in smart contract auditing and cybersecurity. The role involves identifying vulnerabilities in blockchain systems, performing security audits, and ensuring robust network and application security across decentralized platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct smart contract audits, focusing on vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, overflow/underflow attacks, and other common security flaws.
  • Ensure blockchain network security, including key management, consensus mechanisms, and on-chain privacy.
  • Evaluate dApp security and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Apply OWASP Top 10 guidelines and perform security testing using SAST/DAST tools.
  • Implement secure protocols including HTTPS, TLS, HSTS, and CSP.
  • Manage and audit Key Management Systems like Azure Key Vault and HashiCorp Vault.
  • Enforce Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) across blockchain applications.
  • Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into development workflows.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in smart contract auditing and blockchain security.
  • Hands-on knowledge of key management, consensus tuning, and network security.
  • Familiarity with dApp architecture and on-chain privacy techniques.
  • Expertise in security testing tools (SAST/DAST) and secure coding practices.
  • Proficiency in HTTPS, TLS, HSTS, CSP, and other web security standards.
  • Experience with Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault, or similar KMS solutions.
  • Knowledge of IAM and RBAC implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in smart contract auditing, blockchain security, or related cybersecurity roles.
  • Relevant certifications (CEH, OSCP, blockchain security certifications) are a plus.


Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to DeFi protocols, decentralized applications (dApps), and enterprise blockchain frameworks.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices for blockchain.
  • Experience with security compliance and regulatory standards for blockchain deployments.
