Role Overview:


As a Product Compliance Associate for QSC, you will ensure that all products comply with regional and international regulatory standards across India and the SAARC region. You will manage the full lifecycle of product compliance—from validation to certification and renewals—while coordinating closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and government bodies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure product compliance with regulatory standards such as BIS, WPC, ETA, EPR, and other country-specific requirements.
  • Lead coordination with certification bodies, testing labs, government departments, and internal teams including product management, supply chain, business, and quality.
  • Work with internal and external partners to obtain compliance documentation within scheduled timelines.
  • Identify compliance challenges, assess risks, and propose solutions to meet regulatory and business goals.
  • Keep product development and sales teams informed about changes in global compliance requirements.
  • Acquire certifications under frameworks such as BIS, WPC, ETA, EPR, and any newly introduced government schemes.
  • Manage all compliance-related documentation, audits, and certification renewals.
  • Drive timely delivery of certifications through effective cross-functional and vendor coordination.
  • Apply strong technical knowledge of regulatory frameworks and program management skills to scale compliance operations.


Qualifications Required:


  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in product regulatory compliance across India and the SAARC region.
  • Proven experience obtaining certifications across multiple regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong program management capabilities with multi-stakeholder coordination experience.
  • Exposure to electronics, electrical appliances, IoT products, and industrial equipment.
  • Experience collaborating with certification agencies and testing labs.
  • Prior involvement with engineering, supply chain, product, and legal teams.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems for documentation and vendor management across multiple certification workflows.
