About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented UX/UI Designer to fill a key role on our team. You will be responsible for the entire product design lifecycle, from initial user research and concept ideation to creating pixel-perfect UIs and validating your designs with users. You will work on a variety of projects, from enhancing existing platforms to conceptualizing and designing new products from the ground up.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong portfolio, a passion for user advocacy, and the ability to seamlessly blend user needs with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design: Lead the design process for new features and products, from discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and final visual design.
• User Research & Synthesis: Plan and conduct comprehensive user research, including user interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis. Synthesize findings into actionable insights, creating personas, user journeys, and empathy maps to guide design decisions.
• Responsive & Adaptive Design: Design and prototype fully responsive experiences for web and mobile, ensuring a seamless and optimized user journey across all devices and screen sizes.
• Ecommerce Experience Design: Design and optimize high-converting user journeys for our ecommerce platform, focusing on product discovery, engagement, and a frictionless checkout process
• Internal Tools & Collaboration: Enhance the user experience of our internal platforms, including SharePoint sites, to improve information accessibility, streamline workflows, and boost employee productivity.
• Information Architecture & User Flows: Structure and organize information in a clear and intuitive way. Design user flows and wireframes that simplify complex processes and create seamless user experiences.
• UI & Visual Design: Create visually stunning, high-fidelity mockups and prototypes that adhere to brand guidelines and elevate our visual identity. Demonstrate a strong command of typography, color theory, iconography, and layout.
• Usability & Testing: Champion a user-centered design approach by planning, conducting, and analyzing usability tests and A/B tests. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance data to continuously improve the user experience.
• Accessibility Design: Act as a strong advocate for accessibility. Ensure that all designs are inclusive and meet modern accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance), making our products usable for people with the widest possible range of abilities.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely and collaboratively with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Clearly articulate and present design rationale and concepts to the team and key stakeholders.
• Design System Management: Work within our existing design system to ensure consistency across products, and actively contribute to its evolution and improvement.
• Versatile Design Support: Occasionally leverage your graphic design skills to support marketing and branding initiatives, including creating presentations, infographics, and other brand assets.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
• Portfolio: A strong and compelling portfolio that showcases your end-to-end design process, from research and problem-solving to final visual execution on web and mobile applications.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Expertise in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, and Miro.
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Core Skills:

• Proven experience in user research, usability testing, wireframing, and creating user flows.
• A deep understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for inclusive design.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, color, and layout.
• Experience designing for Content Management Systems (CMS), particularly WordPress.
• A solid understanding of SEO principles and how design choices can impact search engine visibility.
• Direct experience designing for ecommerce platforms, with a strong understanding of product detail pages, shopping cart optimization, and conversion-focused design.
