About the Role

Markek International is looking for an experienced professional with strong expertise in CSR project designing, implementation, monitoring, and impact assessments. The role involves conducting independent and credible CSR impact audits aligned with national and global reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design CSR projects aligned with Schedule VII, SDGs, and community needs.
  • Develop Theory of Change (ToC), LogFrame, KPIs, and M&E frameworks.
  • Conduct baseline, midline, and endline studies for CSR programs.
  • Lead impact audits, outcome verification, and field-level evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act 2013 (Section 135), CSR Rules, CSR-2 reporting norms.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative research tools (FGD, KII, PRA, surveys).
  • Prepare evidence-based impact assessment and audit reports.
  • Coordinate with corporates, NGOs, local communities, and implementation partners.
  • Travel to project sites for field assessments across India.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree: MSW / Rural Development / Development Studies / Sociology / Public Policy / Economics or related fields.
  • 5–7 years of experience in CSR project implementation, M&E, or social impact audits.
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of global social reporting frameworks, including BRSR/BRSR Core, GRI Standards, SDGs, SROI, IFC/World Bank guidelines, and other impact measurement systems.
  • Similar hands-on experience in using these frameworks is a must.
  • Understanding of CSR Rules, Schedule VII, and CSR-2 reporting.
  • Experience with data collection & research tools (Kobo, ODK, Excel, SPSS).
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
