- Design and develop data models and transformations using dbt within the Snowflake environment.

- Define, design, and implement data pipelines from data ingestion to consumption, leveraging a variety of tools including dbt.

- Write and maintain high-quality, well-documented, and efficient SQL queries for data transformation and manipulation.

- Implement dbt best practices, including materialization, tests, jobs, and deployments.

- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dbt, Snowflake, and related data warehousing technologies.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in data warehouse design and development.

- 2+ years of experience working with Snowflake as the primary data warehouse platform.

- 2+ years of experience using dbt for data transformation and modeling.

- Strong understanding of data modeling approaches, including dimensional modeling and model normalization.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write and review complex queries.

- Experience working with cloud-based data extraction tools like HVR, Fivetran, or Matillion (a plus).

Technical Skills :

- dbt (materialization, tests, jobs, deployments)

- Snowflake

- SQL (advanced level)

- Data Modeling (dimensional modeling, normalization)

- Data Warehousing concepts

Desired Skills :

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms like Azure Databricks
