Big 4 is hiring for the position of Sr. Engineer- SQA for Bangalore location
1. Execute programs and automated scripts for testing purposes
2. Develop automation scripts to align with acceptance criteria
3. Functional test new products and regression test existing products during each QA release cycle
4. Assist with the testing, documenting, defect tracking and information flow during each QA cycle
5. Assist with development of new automation tools and maintaining existing automation tools
6. Gain proficient knowledge of system functionality
7. Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement to help streamline the development life cycle
8. Participate in Scrum ceremonies and discuss about the defects with details with the development team
Technical Skills: Experience in one or more of the following:
1. Testing cloud native solutions
2. Knowledge in :
- TestOps theory and best practices
- Testing in high velocity delivery systems
- Synthetic transaction testing
- Test Driven Development
- Cloud native software testing
3. High level familiarity in -
- Application Monitoring
- Continuous Software Delivery
- Full Stack Serverless Web Application Delivery
- AWS Management, Security, Scalability, Reliability, Cost Optimization
Desired Candidate Profile:
1. At least 5 years of professional experience in software domain
2. At least 2 years of Java programming experience
3. At least 2 years of experience creating and maintaining test tooling
4. At least 2 years+ of working experience with JavaScript/Typescript
5. Experience with Unit test framework and development tools such as Mocha / Jest
6. Experience automating tests for AWS Lambda functions
7. At least 2 years of experience testing cloud native software
8. B.E/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science/IT or related field.
9. AWS Certified Developer - Associate
10. Exposure to CI/CD tooling, especially CircleCI
11. Experience with microservice architectures
12. Hands on experience querying data
13. Proficient in testing of GraphQL and REST APIs
