Job Title: QA Tester / Software Tester

Experience: 2+ years

Job Type: Full-time


About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester with 2+ years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with testing methodologies, bug tracking, and automation tools, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases, and test scripts individually.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and identify scope for automation.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing/QA.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as:
  • Bug Tracking: Jira, Bugzilla
  • Test Management: TestRail, Zephyr
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred:

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Automation (optional but preferred): Selenium, Cypress, Postman (for API testing)
