Job purpose
The Senior Manager – Brand & Digital Marketing will be responsible for leading the integrated consumer marketing strategy for Vision Care, driving brand communications, digital engagement, conversion strategies, and brand experience across all consumer touchpoints.
This role is pivotal in shaping the brand’s consumer-facing vision, ensuring high-impact campaigns, and delivering measurable business growth for Carl Zeiss India, Vision Care.
India and other South Asian countries-Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives
Main Accountabilities
- Develop and execute holistic marketing strategies that unify brand positioning, digital engagement, and conversion objectives across online and offline channels.
- Adapt global messaging to local market needs, ensuring consistency and relevance at every consumer touchpoint.
- Map and optimize the end-to-end consumer journey, identifying and innovating key touchpoints to enhance experience and drive loyalty.
- Champion CX initiatives, leveraging data and insights to continuously improve satisfaction and conversion rates.
- Lead the creation and rollout of 360° marketing campaigns (ATL/BTL/Digital), maximizing ROI and brand awareness.
- Oversee performance marketing, media mix modeling, and analytics to drive consumer acquisition and retention.
- Design and implement strategies to increase consumer conversion through targeted initiatives, data-driven insights, and continuous testing.
- Establish and track KPIs for all campaigns, ensuring accountability and optimization of marketing spend.
- Manage relationships with commercial agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative marketing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product, channel, sales & partnership teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing brand marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and execution excellence.
- Drive capability building in digital marketing, analytics, and CX within the team.
- Conduct ongoing market research and benchmarking to identify trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive opportunities led via consumer immersions
- Own the marketing calendar and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely execution of initiatives.

Job Specifications
Education
- MBA from reputed B School preferably Tier 1/2
Experience
- 8+ years in consumer marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role in B2B2C or CPG environments.
- Proven track record in brand management, digital marketing, and performance marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams & manage external partners.
- Skills
- Expertise in integrated marketing (ATL/BTL/Digital), campaign planning & execution, brand communications and brand strategy.
- Strong command of digital analytics, martech automation, CRM, and performance marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).
- Advanced project management and communication skills.
- Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with consumer journey mapping and CX optimization.
- Strategic thinker with a bias for execution and results.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Agility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- High degree of initiative, ownership, and accountability.
