OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to lead hardware management initiatives,with a strong emphasis on partnership development, cross-functional collaboration, andexpertise in telephony and phone devices. This role requires an energetic Product Manager whowill drive the product roadmap, foster key relationships with external partners, and workseamlessly with our internal Supply Chain and Sales teams to deliver innovative andhigh-quality hardware solutions.Work Location: BangaloreResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Roadmap● Champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for hardware management, with akeen focus on telephony and phone devices.● Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis toidentify opportunities and unmet needs.● Translate business requirements and market insights into detailed product specifications,user stories, and use cases.● Prioritize features and initiatives based on strategic impact, technical feasibility, andbusiness value.Partnership Management● Cultivate robust relationships with internal teams and external hardware partners toensure clear communication and strategic alignment.● Facilitate collaboration throughout the hardware lifecycle, encompassing firmwaredevelopment and certification, managing customer escalations, and conducting issueinvestigation and resolution.Cross-Functional Collaboration● Supply Chain: Work closely with the Supply Chain team to optimize sourcing,procurement, inventory management, and logistics for hardware components andfinished goods.● Sales: Collaborate with the Sales team to understand customer needs, developcompelling product narratives, and support sales enablement efforts. Provide producttraining and technical expertise to the sales force.● Engineering & Design: Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure technicalfeasibility, optimal performance and operation for all certified hardware devicessupported.● Marketing: Work with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning,and messaging for new hardware releases.● Support: Work closely with the Support team to develop comprehensive support pagesand knowledge base (KB) articles for new and existing products and features, ensuringcustomers have access to accurate information.Product Lifecycle Management● Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring successfulproduct launches and ongoing product health.● Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on products to drivecontinuous improvement.● Manage product obsolescence and transition strategies.Qualifications● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; MBAor advanced degree preferred.● Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with a focus on hardwareproducts (preferably IP phones and related accessories as well as headsets and relatedaccessories).● Demonstrated expertise in telephony and phone devices is essential.● Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and logistics.● Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and aligndiverse stakeholders.● Experience working closely with Sales and Supply Chain teams.● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple prioritieseffectively.● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach todecision-making.
