Senior Ruby Backend Developer

REMOTE - Noida India

Note : There will be over lap with USA PST timezone (3-4 hrs)


  • Strong proficiency in Ruby (language fundamentals, idioms, metaprogramming)
  • Deep understanding of OOP, mixins, blocks, procs, and lambdas
  • Familiarity with memory management, GC tuning, and performance profiling
  • experience with frameworks like Ruby on Rails,Grape ActiveRecord, ActiveJob, ActionCable, ActiveModel validations, Engines, initializers, routing, and lifecycle callbacks
  • Comfortable deploying and optimizing Passenger, Thin
  • Deeper understanding of Thread vs. process models, Connection handling, worker tuning, memory profiling
  • PostgreSQL and advanced usage of ActiveRecord
  • Experience optimizing N+1 queries, indexes, and query plans
  • Proficient with Bundler, Rake, Rubygems
  • Gem building and custom gem publishing
  • Knowledge of RVM, rbenv, chruby
