Job description: Assistant Manager - Events Merchandising (Instamart)


Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-obsessed Assistant Manager - Events Merchandising to drive the success of our flagship campaigns on the Instamart platform. This critical, high-impact role is responsible for the end-to-end site merchandising of major festival / topical campaigns, translating consumer insights into actionable on-app strategies to deliver a seamless, high-converting consumer experience. You will be the central pivot, working cross-functionally to bring the Instamart storefront to life.

Location: This role is based out of Bangalore office, with 5 days at office


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct consumer/market research to understand user journeys, use cases, and product discovery opportunities within campaigns.
  • Design app wireframes and the entire user flow to define the optimal consumer journey for large-scale campaigns.
  • Strategize optimal on-app visibility for key categories and curate product assortment to maximize conversion and business goals.
  • Own the creative briefs that go to the Design teams and own the final quality of all the visual and copy elements in the consumer journey
  • Develop detailed execution plans, manage overall cross-functional timelines, for a seamless execution.
  • Relentlessly drive improvements to the Merchandise experience through the development and execution of strategic and creative ideas
  • Analyze merchandising metrics and related data as well as direct consumer feedback to identify opportunities to improve merchandising and the customer experience of campaigns.


Desired candidate:

We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual with a bias for action and a belief that consumers come first.

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in E-commerce / Quick Commerce, or a related high-growth digital environment with MBA degree is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated skill with technical tools and processes through experience in app management, digital marketing, advanced data analysis, or relevant merchandising roles.
  • Passionate, organized, and comfortable managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously. Ability to coordinate team members and drive consensus.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor style based on the audience (technical, creative, or business).
  • Comfort working in a high-growth, high-performance, and fast-paced team environment.
