Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging ICT Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs in information and communication technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging way for learners of different skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver ICT training courses for individuals or groups.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Prepare training materials, manuals, and e-learning resources.
  • Teach a range of ICT topics, including computer basics, office productivity tools, networking fundamentals, cybersecurity awareness, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide hands-on practical sessions and demonstrations.
  • Evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, software updates, and teaching best practices.
  • Maintain training records and prepare progress reports.
  • Support learners with troubleshooting and problem-solving during training sessions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve training programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an ICT Trainer, IT Instructor, or similar teaching role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, software applications, and ICT tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical learners.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training certifications (e.g., CompTIA CTT+, Microsoft Certified Trainer, Cisco Instructor Certification).
  • Experience in e-learning platforms and virtual training delivery.
  • Familiarity with instructional design methodologies.
